ADSTAR 2024 – The vision to get ahead of the curve
For this event, held at the National Convention Centre in Canberra, Audio Visual Events® provided end-to-end production. Including vision, audio, lighting, cameras, stage and drape, rigging, onsite technical management as well as freight and logistics. Account Management by Zac Bennett, Project Management by Daniel Quinn and Technical Direction by Dylan Hovey.
The event producer challenged AVE® to create a solution that would captivate the audience from the moment they walked in until the end of the show. In response, AVE® designed and installed a custom-built 32 x 7-metre projection screen, made up of six curved parallelograms with a 2-meter depth at its peak which invoked a sense of accelerated motion. What made this more impressive? It was the largest screen that could physically fit in the venue!
With AVE®’s continued investment in vision solutions such as high-end Panasonic projection, Pixera four media Server and Barco vision switching we were able to make sure every piece of content was delivered with pixel-perfect clarity, vibrant colours, and punch. Shows like ADSTAR are exactly what this tech is made for, and our team was thrilled to put this equipment to work in a space and format where they could shine.

Panasonic PT-RQ35K laser projectors
